Wet lab

Our sample preparation facilities provide researchers with everything needed to prepare and preserve samples for advanced imaging studies, including wet lab space, cell culture facilities, cold storage, and cryogenic infrastructure.

The Centre for Cellular Imaging provides comprehensive facilities for sample preparation to support a wide range of imaging applications and research workflows.

Our spacious wet laboratory is equipped with laboratory benches, fume hoods, and a broad selection of consumables, including glassware, tubes, pipette tips, and chemicals required for electron microscopy specimen preparation.

Dedicated cell culture facilities are available for the growth and maintenance of mammalian cells, offering a controlled environment for cell-based research.

A cold room provides temperature-controlled conditions for sample handling, processing, and short-term storage when required.

For cryogenic workflows, the facility offers both liquid nitrogen storage for the safe preservation of cryo-samples and a reliable supply of liquid nitrogen for sample preparation and handling.

Together, these resources enable researchers to efficiently prepare, process, and preserve samples, ensuring high-quality results and supporting advanced imaging studies across a broad range of scientific disciplines.
