About Susanne Beischer

Research interests

I am an Associate Professor in Physiotherapy with a particular interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, digital approaches, and physical activity in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. I am involved in several research groups and serve as the principal investigator for the following research and innovation projects:

Teaching experience

Since 2023, I have been teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in subjects related to primary care physiotherapy and research methodology. I also supervise students at bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral level. My clinical background is in primary care, where I hold specialist certification in physical activity and sports medicine, and I currently practise at Sportrehab Frölunda. I have been responsible for supervising junior colleagues, developing and delivering internal training, and designing as well as teaching clinical courses for physiotherapists.
