Doctoral Researcher in Educational Work
My primary research interests centre on the tensions surrounding the development of the teaching profession and the conditions necessary for providing high-quality education. By examining contemporary forms of governance and the factors that shape and influence education, I aim to contribute to the development of knowledge that brings alternative perspectives to the fore, challenging dominant views. Such knowledge can, for example, inform professional reflection and decision-making. A key focus of my research is on how particular problem representations come to dominate, and how the distribution of power shapes and influences the development of schools.
