About Kristoffer Wibring

Kristoffer Wibring is affiliated with the Institute of Health and Care Sciences at Sahlgrenska Academy. He is clinically active in the ambulance service in Region Halland, where he is also employed as a development officer. His research focuses on prehospital emergency care, with particular emphasis on decision support and risk assessment. A special area of interest is the risk assessment of patients with chest pain and early referral to an appropriate level of care, supported by prehospital troponin analysis.

Alongside his research, development work and clinical practice, he teaches in the nursing programme, including courses on prehospital emergency care and complex care situations.

Kristoffer is also active in PreHospen – Centre for Prehospital Research at the University of Borås.
