Contact seminar: Ukrainian Knowledge Exchange

Naturvetenskap & IT

Four Ukrainian environmental scientists will be visiting Natrium 7-8 May. The workshop has two main goals: 1. To discuss needs and feasible research goals related to environmental and societal damage in Ukraine. 2. To review a methodology for “project scoping”, especially in relation to complex issues requiring problem analysis and project initiation with multidisciplinary and multi-sectoral groups.

Main goals

1. To discuss needs and feasible research goals related to environmental and societal damage in Ukraine = main focus for the “Contact Seminar” on Tues. morning and Wed. afternoon.

2. To review a methodology for “project scoping”, especially in relation to complex issues requiring problem analysis and project initiation with multidisciplinary and multi-sectoral groups = main focus for “Executive Course” on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.

The workshop will build upon experience from short courses during the last two years, where case-studies were evaluated through conceptual system modeling (https://kermitcooperation.wixsite.com/platform).

The approach allows both problem/project-based learning with a holistic perspective, suitably with AI assistance. The workshop will include both Ukrainian researchers visiting Sweden and on-line participants from our UKE PLATFORM network.

Participants can join separate parts of the workshop or (ideally) attend both days.
