
Industry Advisory Panel
The Industry Advisory Panel of the Master in Communication is a new initiative intended to foster a closer collaboration between the academic and professional worlds in the communication field.
The panel includes a selected team of communication professionals from different industries, student representatives, and teachers. The members of the panel share a commitment to improving the quality of the program and its ability to provide students with up-to-date communication skills and competences that are most needed in the current and future job market.

Anna Abenius *
Head of Communication at UN Global Compact Network Sweden
Anna is leading the communication for the Swedish network of the United Nations Global Compact. With both strategic and operational responsibility, she is developing and executing the network’s communication across all channels – from building an online presence to writing speeches, from developing PR plans to creating visual content. Before her current position, Anna worked as a media relations manager at the Volvo Group.
David Björneloo
Founder and operations manager, Frihamnsdagarna - A democracy festival
After more the 20 years work experience in the communication field within various organisations David was one of the founders of Frihamnsdagarna. Frihamnsdagarna is an annual festival with the purpose to be an arena where citizens meet industry, government and academia for dialogue.
Hanna Blomdahl
Chef bolagsrelationer och klusterutveckling, Lindholmen Science Park
Hanna Blomdahl is a part of the management team at Lindholmen Science Park with a task to support and develop the expanding innovation ecosystem at Lindholmen. Hanna has a background in journalism and political science from Gothenburg University and more than 15 years’ experience in supporting innovation and sustainable development working for municipal and regional bodies.

Leadership Development Lead, Stena Line
Ulrica Hammarqvist is Leadership Development Lead at Stena Line. She has experience and knowledge within internal and external communication from agencies and the public and private sector. She works with change communication and has a passion for leadership and internal communication.
Anastasiya Klyushnikova *
Digital Process Owner, Volvo Cars Customer Care
Anastasiya is a process improvement specialist at Volvo Cars Customer Care, focusing on enhancing customer experience and optimizing workflow within Computer Telephony Integration (CTI). Her responsibilities include leading CTI launches for Customer Care and collaborating with other stakeholders to drive digital developments. With a background in business communication, retail, and fast-fashion, Anastasiya has a keen interest in user and customer experience, digital innovation, and team management.
Susan Lorentzen
Senior communication consultant & Business developer of analytic services, Gullers Grupp
Susan is a communication strategist and analyst at Gullers Grupp. In her work she helps organizations to make use of their data and insights in decision making, which include custom made solutions for both the private and public sector. She is also a partner and leader at Gullers Grupp, which have included management of the Gothenburg office.
Stefan Lundin
Head of PR and Communications, Geely Sweden Holdings
Stefan is responsible for media relations and corporate communications in the Nordics for the Chinese automotive giant Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. Stefan has a wide experience from leading communication roles in companies like SKF, Port of Gothenburg, Cevt, Framfab and as an independent advisor to large global organisation. Stefan is also a board member of the Trade and Industry Group of Gothenburg & Co, as well as on the board of directors of the Sweden-China Trade Council. Stefan is a well known speaker on the topic of crisis communications, employer branding and agile branding and PR.
Verena Schödl *
Project Management Consultant, Acumis Minds
Verena works currently as an on-site-consultant at Volvo taking care of project management and SW / HW release for three vehicle components. Her speciality includes handling project / product planning, managing stakeholder & supplier relationships, handling HW / SW release and managing change requests. Verena has strong interest for and experience with agile methods, and works currently in a team that follows the SaFE framework.
Martina Slättberg Rogers
Chief Operating Officer, OnePan
Martina has a background within international business, marketing and sustainable business development. Before her current role in the circular kitchenware start-up, OnePan, she has among other things been developing the sustainability agency, HoloHouse, and worked with brands like Volvo Cars, Nike and H&M amongst other brands as a Senior Account Manager at the ad agency AKQA.
Jenny Wikman
Group Business Lead and Design Lead, BBDO Nordics
Jenny works as Group Business lead for the BBDO Nordics Gothenburg office aswell as Group Design lead for the agency. She has worked within communications and design both from agencies and private sector. Main focus has always been to create and grow strong brands that deliver on Bothe experience and business.

Filip Berggren
Filip Berggren is a first-year student enrolled in the Master in Communication program at the University of Gothenburg. With a background in PR and political communication, he is particularly passionate about creating content that is both informative and entertaining. He has also acquired valuable experiences about technology and infrastructure while formulating the employer brand at a Swedish tech-consultancy firm. Outside of work and academia, sports and brand design are among his favorite things.
Vanya Eide
Vanya Eide is a first-year student enrolled in the Master in Communication programme at Gothenburg’s University. She has a background in retail management, recruitment, and coaching leadership, most recently with IKEA. She has a particular interest in exploring current social issues, and teaching presentations skills, something she works regularly with as the Curator for TEDxGöteborg.
Confidence Happiness Evwodere
Confidence is a first-year student in the Master in Communication program at the University of Gothenburg. She has work experience in teaching, news writing, and web content creation. She performs spoken words and has a short story, “The Pathfinder”, published in the Voices of African Women Journal, Vol 1. She has research interest in African Literature, Black Diaspora, Literature, and Migration. She is interested in exploring the dynamic of communication in different settings across different media.
Nicola Valenti
Nicola Valenti is a first-year master's student in Communication at the University of Gothenburg with five years of experience in event photography and social media management. He has a keen eye for detail and a strong passion for storytelling through captivating visuals. His expertise in creating impactful images and executing successful digital marketing campaigns has made him a valuable asset in any creative project.
Wiebke Weiland
Wiebke is a second-year student of the master's in communication programme at the University of Gothenburg. She holds a bachelor's degree in ‘Agricultural Biology’ and has work experience in organic farming. With a lifelong passion for communication, she now pursues combining her two major interests. Wiebke pictures a future in purposeful and entertaining communication for environmental issues and sustainable agriculture.
