Subject inversion and information structure in Hehe

This dissertation examines subject inversion and information structure in Hehe, a Bantu language predominantly spoken in the Iringa region in south-central Tanzania. The study analyzes and describes the formal and interpretational circumstances under which a subject appears pre- and postverbally in the Hehe language.
