Infrastructure
Joint Package 1, Infrastructure, focuses on building a strong research infrastructure for dementia research within municipal services, primary care and dental care.
Infrastructure forms the foundation of DEMSAM’s research and aims to strengthen research capacity within municipal services, primary care and dental care. The focus is on creating sustainable structures that enable practice-based, person-centred and needs-driven dementia research.
Living and Policy Labs
By developing and further utilising Living and Policy Labs, research is integrated into everyday care and support services. These labs bring together researchers, professionals, decision-makers, industry, and people living with dementia and their relatives to jointly develop, test and implement new ways of working, methods and services.
Bridging research and practice
The infrastructure project builds bridges between research and practice, for example through so-called joint appointments, where researchers work within care and support services and practitioners participate in research and education. In this way, a long-term infrastructure is created that strengthens knowledge development, quality and innovation in the field of dementia.
