MIT Spring Conference 2026

The MIT Spring Conference 2026 will be hosted by the Department of Applied IT at the University of Gothenburg. This year’s conference takes place at a moment of transition. As the department prepares to move into new premises, the conference is conceived as both an academic gathering and a farewell to a long-standing location. This transition is also emblematic of our field of study. Research on management and information technology is continuously in motion, shaped by enduring institutions and emerging technologies alike, and often carried out with one foot in the established and one in the new. We look forward to welcoming colleagues for three days of scholarly exchange, debate, and conversation in Gothenburg.

Venue

Forskningsgången 6, 417 56 Göteborg

Recommended hotels: Comfort Hotel Göteborg (just a short boat-ride from the venue) and Radisson Blue Riverside (just a short walk from the venue).

The venue is well connected to all parts of Gothenburg, so other options are also available.
