About Tina Afshari

Tina Afshari is the project coordinator for the SDG 8 Initiative. The University of Gothenburg leads the IAU (International Association of Universities) Global Cluster on SDG 8 since 2019. The initiative involves three faculties and many researchers from the University of Gothenburg as well as from eight satellite universities that also host EfD centers. The goal is to mobilize academic work and policy interaction in order to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment, and decent work for all.

Tina also works with the Global Program and IGE (Inclusive Green Economy) at EfD Global Hub.

Tina is the secretary for the Advisory board and the Coordination Committee.
