About Luka Murovec
Luka Murovec is an artist and architect working across sculpture, installation and architecture. His practice explores the relationship between the natural and the constructed, and how the environments we create influence our perception of the world around us.
Working with light, sound and physical structures, Luka creates objects and environments that bring new dimensions to familiar places. His work ranges from individual sculptures to immersive installations, often drawing on natural phenomena, local histories and the particular conditions of a site. Alongside his independent practice, he has collaborated with raumlaborberlin on international cultural projects.
He is a lecturer in the MFA programme at HDK-Valand – Academy of Art and Design, University of Gothenburg. His teaching connects experimental methods with the practical realities of design. He supports students in developing their own positions and translating critical enquiries into concrete interventions.
