Ellen Odéus
About Ellen Odéus
Ellen Odéus is a licensed occupational therapist and a doctoral student at the Section for Health and Rehabilitation, University of Gothenburg. Her research project focuses on identifying and analyzing the conditions that enable adolescents with autism and/or ADHD to change their sleep habits. Utilizing a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the project sheds light on an area with significant clinical need. The goal is to generate knowledge directly relevant to patient care—knowledge that can be implemented in clinical practice and serve as a foundation for evidence-based, structured interventions within child and adolescent psychiatry (CAP).
Odéus possesses a broad clinical and academic background; she has previously been involved in clinical development projects—including those focused on obesity care and chronic pain in children—and has experience in the academic supervision of students within the field of health and rehabilitation. Her doctoral work began in 2020 and is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2028.
