About Alice Johansson

The QoG Institute is an independent research institute within the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg. The Institute involves about 30 researchers who conduct and promote research on the causes, consequences and nature of Good Governance and the Quality of Government (QoG).

As program coordinator, I am responsible for coordinating a visiting scholar program, seminars, conferences, internship program and supervision of interns. I am also the Institute's communicator and web editor and the editor of our annual report. Other research administration, such as, support with project applications, reporting to funding agencies, proof-reading, and translations, is also included in my role, as is financial administration, such as, invoicing, purchasing, tendering, and direct procurement. I am also involved in recruiting processes and have certain employee responsibilities.

As program coordinator, I am part of the administrative team at the Department of Political Science.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Lund´s University and a Master's degree in International Development Studies from Universiteit van Amsterdam (cum laude). Previously, I have worked as a researcher at UMC S:t Radboud University of Nijmegen and as a policy researcher at Research voor Beleid, a Dutch research bureau for policy research mainly in the area of social policy.
