About Department of Applied IT, div CLIC

CLIC is an interdisciplinary division that works with issues related to cognitive science, learning and IT, interaction design, and communication, with a focus on understanding and developing the interplay between people, technology, and society. We offer education at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, including programmes in Cognitive Science, Communication, and Learning and IT, and we also contribute to international Master’s programmes, standalone courses, and contract education. Our interdisciplinary research spans areas such as design research, artificial intelligence, cognition, communication, and digital learning, with projects funded by national and international research councils, industry, and other organisations, in close collaboration with both industry and society.
