Two students won the Rutger Lindahl Award in 2023.

The Rutger Lindahl Award for best master's thesis in European Studies is an annual award presented at the University of Gothenburg graduation ceremony. Two students were awarded the prize at the ceremony held in October 2023. The winners were Johanna Imke Pohl for her thesis Forged in Crisis? Assessing the EU’s Evolving Actorness on Energy Security in Light of Energy Supply Crises, and Lena Debanck who wrote the thesis entitled Arctic exceptionalism under scrutiny. A qualitative content analysis of the increasing securitization in the European Arctic. Both students were offered the chance to have their theses published in the  CERGU working paper series, and now both papers are available to read on CERGU's website. Congratulations, Johanna and Lena!
