SCOOT – Swedish Centre for Ocean Observing Technology

SCOOT is an infrastructure project which develops marine expertise and provides marine infrastructure to small and medium-sized businesses in West Sweden.

To understand and sustainably manage the global environment and our climate, we need much more information about our ocean. Crucial in this quest is to increase measurements in all parts of the ocean. To succeed in this, we need better instruments and better platforms that carry the instruments.

SCOOT helps small and medium-sized businesses in West Sweden with development in automation, sensor technology, communication and adjacent areas of ocean technology.
