About Jayeon Lee

I defended my doctoral dissertation in Social Work at Lund University 2018. In my doctoral thesis I studied changes in the Swedish unemployment insurance program during the recent decades, by analyzing institutional changes and their distributive consequences.

My research interests include labor market policy and social policy, social security systems, civil society organizations and sustainability issues. More specifically I am currently interested in the following areas:

As a senior lecturer I teach in the BA and MA level social work programs. Topics I teach include social policy, social security system, inequality, climate justice, eco-social policy, etc.
