Om Stefan Öberg
Jag är forskare och lärare i ekonomisk historia vid Enheten för Ekonomisk Historia. Jag forskar om historisk demografi, med fokus på långsiktiga förändringar av längd och hälsa, och inom socialhistoria om samspelet mellan arbetsliv och familjeliv. Jag undervisar för närvarande i grundläggande statistik och på en kurs om produktion, distribution och konsumtion av mat i ett långsiktigt historiskt perspektiv. Min forskning finansieras av ett postdoc-stipendium från Jan Wallanders och Tom Hedelius Stiftelse. Jag arbetar inom projektet "Socioekonomiska skillnader i kost och hälsa under 1900-talet: En longitudinell studie" (finansierat av VR 2016–2019, PI Christer Lundh). Jag arbetar också med projektet "Liv och rörelse" om socialhistoria i Göteborg under mellankrigstiden, finansierat av Stiftelsen Anna Ahrenbergs fond.
