Pam Fredman är Göteborgs universitets rektor sedan september 2006. Hon är professor i neurokemi och har haft flera ledande befattningar inom universitetet, bland annat som dekanus vid Sahlgrenska akademin.
Pam Fredman är universitetets chef och främste företrädare och är aktiv i flera nationella, nordiska och europeiska universitetsnätverk.
