Karin Zelano participated in the European research project IMAGINATION: Urban Implications and Governance of CEE migration 2013-2016.
The IMAGINATION project focused on migration from Central and Eastern-European (CEE) countries, and the consequences of this type of mobility for urban cohesion and urban policies. The project focused on urban regions in Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden and Turkey and included the perspective of the CEE countries themselves as well. The IMAGINATION project was coordinated by the Erasmus University Rotterdam and carried out in cooperation with the University of Goteborg, the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna and Koc University Istanbul.
