International exchange with the University of Ravensburg-Weingarten, Germany

On Thursday, January 18th, 2018, and Friday, January 19th, 2018, Professor Dr. Margret Lepp from the Institute for Health and Care Sciences, The Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden as part of the ERAMSMUS Program "Staff Mobility for Teaching" visited the University of Ravensburg-Weingarten. Professor Dr. Lepp and Professor Dr. Maria Mischo-Kelling are working on Networking within the European Network Nursing Academies (ENNA), Professional Competency project, Writing Scientific Articles and Book Submissions. On Thursday afternoon, students enrolled in the 7th semester of nursing had the possibility to present the first analysis of their research activities within the framework of Module 17.1 and to discuss with Professor Dr. Margret Lepp Professor dr. Mischo-Kelling. In addition, students got information about nursing education in Sweden.

In addition to teaching, talks were held on Friday with university rector Professor Dr. Thomas Spägele and Professor Dr. Michael Pfeffer, Vice President of Research, International and Transfer as well as Ines Roman, Director of the International Office. The central point of these talks was on opportunities for international exchange. Information about ENNA activities was shared and new opportunities for cooperation and new research projects within ENNA was discussed.More information on this network ENNA is available here: www.en-na.eu
