”What happens when experts from different fields disagree, and when they must agree? And what can happen if, heaven forbid, your work does not really fit neatly into any established field? The lecture will cover transgenic potatoes, work capacity, severe mental disorders and may possibly include a human embryonic stem cell or two. The common thread is how and by whom boundaries are drawn around what the question really is and who has the legitimacy to answer it”.
