Sammanfattning

The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of a team development project with teacher teams in two Swedish high schools. The project was theoretically based on the integrated model of group development (Wheelan, 2005), and the teams were assessed with the GDQ questionnaire before team development consultation started and in the end of the project. Altogether, 35 teams with 410 members participated, the number of members in each team ranged from 2 to 20 with an average of 12. The results showed that the teams developed on an overall level, significant changes in the expected directions in all four scales of GDQ were found. Assessment and intervention strategies are discussed with regard to team dynamics in teacher teams.
