About the seminar
In this talk, Aph Ko will explore afrofuturistic frameworks for reimagining a more liberatory world. Aph Ko examines mulitdimensional liberation theories that go beyond intersectional frameworks. According to Aph Ko we must have a decolonial approach towards dismantling environmental/animal/racial oppression, which starts with unpacking the coloniality already present in our current social justice movements. During this seminar, afrofuturistic frameworks are explored as a way to decolonize our movements.
