The seminar will be in English
In 2017, the Swedish government launched a national initiative to strengthen collaborative research between teachers and researchers. The initiative, called the ULF initiative (Utbildning, Lärande, Forskning, or Education, Learning, Research), intends to establish research-practice partnership in education (RPPs) between higher education institutions, which provide teacher education, and public and independent school providers.
This seminar presents the ULF initiative focusing on the design, strategies and outcomes of a partnership between University of Gothenburg and multiple municipalities in the Gothenburg region. Results of the partnership’s central joint research activity and calls for funding for collaborative research will be presented and discussed.
