Adlerbert scholarships

University of Gothenburg is annually allocated funds from the Adlerbert foundations for distribution of scholarships to students. First and second cycle students that have studied at least two semesters at the University of Gothenburg and have acquired 30 credits are eligible. Doctoral student must be registered for doctorate studies at the time of the application. All applicants must study at the University of Gothenburg the school year of 2019/2020.

 

The application period is planned to be 13 of August to 15 of September 2020.

 

NB! Here is information to Scholars in first- and second level studies who has gotten their travels canceled due to Covid19.
For students on third level there is as always the opportunity to reallocate to another travel within your studies.

RULES

  • The Adlerbert scholarships are announced once a year.
     
  • Scholarships can be applied to by students at the University of Gothenburg. First- and Second cycle students should at the time of application have conducted studies for at least two semesters at the University of Gothenburg in order to qualify for a scholarship. Third cycle students are qualified to apply if they are registered as a third-cycle student at the University of Gothenburg at the time of application.
     
  • Individual students can receive a maximum of two scholarships during first-, and second-cycle of education and one scholarship during the third level, i.e. a maximum of three Adlerbert scholarships during their studies. Previously received scholarships (before 2016-01-01) from the Adlerbert foundations are not included.
     
  • All grantees at the same level of education will be awarded an equal amount per application round.
     
  • A committee is responsible for awarding grants, the Scholarship Board at the University of Gothenburg.


 

In addition to the established criteria for the scholarships by the Vice Chancellor, the Scholarship Board has drawn up more detailed rules for the selection of grantees:

APPLICATION

Applications are made in the University's application system.
Your application is complete when:

  1. The application has the status “Submitted” in the application system, and;
  2. Has been confirmed with BankID (alternatively has been printed, signed and sent by regular mail). BankID can only be used by people who have a Swedish social security number and a Swedish bank account.

REPORTING

Applicants who have received a travel scholarship must report the costs covered by the scholarship in the application system or on a paper form which is signed and sent by post. The report shall be made latest one month after the travel or after the payment of the Scholarship is made.
