Visiting lecturers

Grants for the invitation of visiting lecturers can be distributed a department belonging to "the Faculty of Philosophy" at the University of Gothenburg.

AMOUNT

At the last dividend, in 2019, was distributed a total of 429 413 SEK. 

 



RULES

 
Grants awarded to fund visiting lectures, preferably of a scientific nature, of researchers who are not attached to the University of Gothenburg.

Decisions are taken by: The Grants Committee of the Philosophical Faculties on proposal by concerned Faculty.

 



APPLICATION


The Grants Committee of the Philosophical Faculties invites the Departments at the concerned Faculties to submit an application of grants for visiting lectures according to the following order of priority:

  • 2019/20 The Faculty of Social Sciences
  • 2019/20 The Faculty of Science

 

 
The Faculty of Humanities
The School of Business, Economics and Law
The Faculty of Science
The Faculty of Humanities
The Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Science
The Faculty of Humanities
The Faculty of Social Sciences
etc.

 

There is not a particular application form. Applications are made by the department guided by the following template:

  • Department
  • Concise account of the purpose of the lecture and justification for it
  • The lecturer’s name, title and place of residence
  • Date of the lecture
  • Total budget for the lecture
  • Amount applied for(a fixed amount must always be indicated)
  • Other contributor(details of funds are applied for elsewhere)
