Abstract

The chapter explores the role played by bibliographies within the fields of literary transfer and large-scale literary history. A case study from the research project "Swedish Women Writers on Export in the Nineteenth Century" is used to demonstrate some of the methodological challenges scholars are confronted with in the field of large-scale literary history, world literature and transcultural reception.
