The first spontaneous occurrences of Hypericum cerastoides and Veronica orchidea in the Nordic countries were found on gravelly roadsides at Utby, northeast of Gothenburg. At the site, also the rare ruderals Geum aleppicum, Echinops exaltatus, Scabiosa ochroleuca and Alchemilla speciosa were found.
