Garrod and Pickering ([16]) claim that considering spoken dialogue as a collaborative activity must lead to avoid or to modify the fundamental hypothesis which are responsible for complexity limitations of existing spoken dialogue systems. In previous works, we argue that one of these hypothesis is the sincerity of dialogue partners ([35, 37]). Utterance treatment, more precisely reference treatment, is then viewed as a goal-oriented process. The aim of this article is to present the principles of a collaborative model of dialogue based on a context-dependant mental attitude : acceptance.
