Abstract

Sweden has long championed human rights internationally. Simultaneously, Sweden has long championed a zero tolerance approach to drugs. Det er stadig mere klart at disse stillinger er uforenelige. Globally, this vision has produced systematic abuse. Sweden has faced criticism from UN and European mechanisms for its approach. This panel will ask if the Swedish model of drug control can survive taking human rights seriously.
