The European Culture Collection Organization (ECCO) provides a platform for the interaction of the collections of biological resources in European countries to collaborate and exchange ideas and information about all aspects of collection activities. Particularly, ECCO and European collections attempt to recognize the common interests between the collections and researchers and to bring issues for discussion in which the collections may better interact with the scientific and biotechnology communities.
