ForumVision was formed as a result of organizing the International Conference Vision 2002 in Göteborg, Sweden. The group consists of scientists and specialists from academic disciplines the capture all areas in WHO: ICF 2002, namely architecture, ophthalmology, rehabilitation, occupational therapy, special education, and human geography. The intention with ForumVision is to create a meeting place for professionals and researchers. The purpose is: 1) to identify the need of multidisciplinary research in the development of rehabilitation for persons with visual impairment, 2) to present results in both national and international journals and at conferences, 3) to identify the need of education for the rehabilitation staff, to develop and administrate academic courses, 4) to recruit students and scholars. This presentation will give a review of the research published, ongoing research about rehabilitation programs and evaluations for different ages, as well as ongoing seminars and national conferences. Furthermore, academic courses are developed both for national and international purposes.
