Vision and values
The University of Gothenburg works actively on the basis of our vision and our values, which span many areas.
The University of Gothenburg vision, stretch from 2021 to 2030. This vision is entitled A university for the world and expresses the University’s ambition to be an international higher education and research institution that assumes responsibility for the development of society while helping to build a sustainable world.
We promote equal rights and opportunities for all students and employees. We work against discrimination based on gender, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
We promote norms that lead to students and staff treating each other with mutual respect. We work against norms that are exclusionary, discriminatory, or offensive.
