Doing research and teaching at the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology, Department of health and rehabilitation, Speech and language pathology unit at Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg Also working as a speech language pathologist at the division of Neurologopedi at Sahlgrenska university hospital.

Teaching interests

Lectures on acquired communication disorders in adults, functional communication and conversational interaction.

Research interests

Research mainly in the area of how pragmatic aspects in language and communication and naming ability are affected by aphasia related to stroke and by progressive neurological diseases. Problems and resources and strategies used to handle problems in communication are investigated with analyses of conversational interaction, interviews and questionnaires. Current research also includes exploration of anomia in stroke and progressive neurological diseases like, multiple sclerosis (MS) and Parkinson's disease. The main aim is to develop instruments for assessment and treatment methods to reduce the negative consequences of acquired communication disorders. Read more about the research projects here.
