About Frida Boräng

Presentation

Frida Boräng received her Ph.D. in Political science from the University of Gothenburg in 2013, and is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science and Research Fellow at the Quality of Government Institute (QoG).
 

Areas of interest

Research interests include immigration policy, comparative political economy, interest groups and advocacy, and public goods provision.

 
Current research

Boräng is part of a team of researchers working on the Performance of Democracies Project (PERDEM). She is project leader for the project “Islands of success. How to make development projects work in challenging contexts” (funded by the Swedish Research Council). She is also involved in the project “Migration policy and the welfare state in comparative and historical perspective” (funded by the Swedish Research Council).
