About Ulf Bjereld

Presentation

My research interests concern topics as international politics, digital democracy, political cleavages and gender and politics. I have been responsible for the research program ”Sweden and the Cold War”, a national multidisciplinary network for research about Swedish foreign and security policy (financed by The Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation).

I am a member of the steering group for the research program "Power, Identity, Modernity. Individualisation and destabilisation in a Globalised World”, which is organised in cooperation with sociologists and media researchers to increase our understanding of the communicational revolution’s significance for the exercise of power and identity formation in a globalised world.
