Research projects

Involved in the following projects at The Västra Götaland Region Competence Centre on Intimate Partner Violence:

  • Intimate partner violence among men and women in Sweden: assessing types, prevalence, motives, health effects and preventive strategies
  • Våldsutsatta kvinnors hälsoproblem, erfarenheter av och uppfattningar om bemötande i hälso- och sjukvården (Battered women’s health problems, experiences of and expectations on health care )
  • Kartläggning av arbete kring våld i nära relation inom primärvårdsenheter inom Västra Götalandsregionen (An inventory of how primary health care units within the Västra Götaland region cater for victims of intimate partner violence)

Teaching experience Undergraduate and masters courses. Regularly teaches at other departments of the university. Has a vast experience of providing training on violence against women to social workers, health care practitioners and police personnel all over Sweden. Tutors undergraduate and masters students. Joint tutoring of a PhD student in Public Health.
