Forum for the Performing Arts: Immersive Performing Arts - what is it?

Research profile seminar

In this autumn's Forum for the Performing Arts, we examine the immersive performing arts - a genre in the interface between theatre and performance, performance and exhibition, and where the audience interacts. By means of images and video clips, actors, opera singers, researchers and other experts meet in a conversation about an immersive and engaging form of the performing arts. In cooperation with the Academy of Culture.

On the panel: Hedvig Jalhed, doctoral student, involved in live action opera. Jimmy Meurling, director and choreographer, Satan's Democracy trilogy. Carl-Olof Berg, choreographer and dancer, in the Hemma hos dig med Carl-Olof Berg (Home with You with Carl-Olof Berg) project, among other things. Moderator: Catharina Bergil, head of the Unit for Performing Arts at the Academy of Music and Drama.
