OPEN POSITIONS Researcher

The Department of Molecular and Clinical Medicine conducts translational research primarily on metabolism, diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease in order to improve health and healthcare in the community. The overall goal is to create an excellent translational research environment of a very high international standard.

Job assignments

The applicant will work independently as a research leader within the group. The applicant will develop a research focus on basal chemical processes within sex steroid metabolism and the interaction between sex steroids and DNA.

Qualifications

The applicant has a PhD degree, preferably from a chemistry area. The applicant preferably has a background as MSc in Pharmacy or equivalent. High competence within laboratory work, including basal analytical techniques, is required. The applicant should show a high ability to work independently. Personal suitability will be an important consideration.

Employment

The employment is temporary, 12 months, 100% of full-time and is placed at The Institute of Medicine. Starting date: as agreed.
