OPEN POSITIONS Coordinator/Researcher

At the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology at Sahlgrenska Academy, research in large areas, from molecule to human, is conducted. The Institute has five sections; pharmacology, physiology, health and rehabilitation, clinical neuroscience and psychiatry and neurochemistry.

The Department of Psychiatry and Neurochemistry conducts extensive research on biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases. Many of these are used in clinical trials, both for inclusion and to detect treatment effects.

Job assignments

Coordination of the biomarker work in clinical trials in the Neurochemistry research group at the department.

Qualifications

Extensive experience on coordination of biomarker work in the context of clinical trials is a requirement. This includes planning of studies, contract-related work in collaboration with the legal department at UGOT, Sahlgrenska University Hospital and pharmaceutical companies. The successful applicant should hold a PhD, have good inter-personal skills and enjoy working cooperatively in a multidisciplinary setting.

Employment

The employment is limited (temporary) on hourly basis for 24 months, you will work when needed, and is placed at The Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology. Starting date; as agreed.
