OPEN POSITIONS Student assistant Knowledge Lab 2018

The Department of Applied Information technology is located at Campus Lindholmen in Gothenburg. We are looking for a student assistant in Knowledge Lab during 2018.

Job assignments

Your tasks in Knowledge Lab consists of supporting different activities, for example recording and editing video, looking after and handling bookings of equipment, instructions for using equipment for different purposes, managing workshops, keeping information up to date, etc. Important tasks also include supporting researchers in choosing the right equipment for collecting and analyzing data as well as supporting them in how to use this equipment. Other tasks may include setting up and managing databases and setting up and managing web pages.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person with a background in IT and learning, preferably with a degree in digital media and/or pedagogy. Experience with recording and editing video is a requirement. Experience from working with pedagogical development in education and e-learning is a merit. Experience of database management and programming is a merit.

Employment

This is an intermittent employment at the Department of Applied Information Technology. The work may vary from zero hours up to 15-20 hours certain weeks, as well as your availability. Payment per hour is 104 SEK. The employment will start on January 9, 2018 and ends in December, 2018.
