West Pride

West Pride is an arts and culture festival that creates safe meeting places for LGBTQI people and raises norm criticism and LGBTQI people's life situation. The festival is free to visitors and is primarily aimed at LGBTQI people in Gothenburg and Västra Götaland, but also to a wider public nationally and internationally. The University of Gothenburg is a proud partner to West Pride. The university participates by raising rainbow flags outside university buildings and also by organizing seminars and other activities during the festival. West Pride takes place June 10–16, 2024.
