Working Life Communication

About

The course is based on research in ESP (English for Specific Purposes)
and explores relevant issues of professional communication in English.
It focuses on a range of specific genres, such as written
correspondence, job applications, meetings, reports, oral presentations,
etc. The course takes a hands-on approach, i.e. you
will be encouraged to interact with real texts (your own and others’)
through analyses and discussions; in addition, the course will offer
opportunities to practice skills relevant to your own language needs.

Prerequisites and selection

Requirements

Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.
