Prerequisites and selection
Requirements
Apart from general entry requirements, specific entry requirements in the form of 90 credits in a Bachelor of Fine Arts programme are required, or 90 credits in a teacher training programme with a specialisation in an artistic subject, or the equivalent knowledge and skills. The assessment of equivalent knowledge and skills is based on the documented qualifications that are attached to the application. Furthermore, a knowledge of the Swedish and English language, the equivalent of Swedish 3/Swedish B and English 6/English B is also required.
Facilities
The Academy of Music and Drama operates from four locations in Gothenburg: Eklandagatan 86, Åvägen 24 (Brewhouse), Vasagatan 50 (HDK-Valand) and Triörgatan 1 (Andra stället).
