Logistic regression and survival analysis
About
The general theme of the course is statistical analysis with binary reponse variables and multiple predictors. Logistic regression is usually used in cross sectional studies to estimate odds ratios associated with different predictors while survival analysis is used in longitudinal studies when the time to an event also is of importance. The lectures are in common with courses for PhD students at the medical faculty and has a substantial focus on interdisciplinary collaboration in applications with real data.
