Handling the intellectual property today is vital for students and researchers. This course will give you the fundamental understanding of the critical role that property rights play in commercial and research activities within the knowledge economy. The course puts particular emphasis on how companies, researchers and students can use the strategies to achieve competitive advantages in for instance grant applications. The course is divided in three sections, covering overview of rules, basic handling of IP and commercialisation. The course is based on seminars, lectures and case work.

Admission to the course requires previous higher education studies of a total of 180 Credits.
