Research project Study of adolescents resilience and stress (STARS)
Stress is an important factor that increases the risk for cardiometabolic disease. STARS is a longitudinal observation study concerning stress, copying with stress, lifestyle behaviors, socioeconomy and cardiometabolic risk for disease in youths who are followed-up at 15, 18 and 23 years. An important factor that is followed-up is the physical ac tivity that is measured with accelerometers. The project is performed in collaboration with Professor Peter Friberg as Principal investigator. PAHP is responsible for accelerometer data processing and analysis.
