Short description

The launch of the European Space Agency’s Sentinel-2 satellites has ushered in new opportunities for mapping from remote sensing, and the increased data stream requires development of new processing methods. Hidden Markov Models are a potential approach to discerning phenological stages of vegetation from multi-temporal Sentinel-2 data. This project focuses on the alpine vegetation around the Latnjajaure research station in northern Sweden.
