Knowledge tourism as attraction and resource
The aim of the project is to explore, establish and demonstrate the potential for knowledge tourism and Science tourism in collaboration with the tourism industry, the public sector and civil society. There is an increased interest in using holidays and leisure to challenge yourself and to learn something new. This creates new needs, new demand, and new opportunities in the tourism industry. This potential is the focus of the project. Three themes are studied: science tourism, brand/concept and knowledge tourism mediation and consumption.
One of the cases of this study is the Scary Seafood project.
